ipod touch 2G with an amp

I just picked up an ipod touch 2G to replace my 3G nano. My nano setup is the player, a pico, and and ALO jumbo cryo dock. When I use the same setup with my touch I'm not getting any signal out of the phones port on the amp - the sound is actually coming out of the speaker on the touch.

I've played around with the settings to no end, and can't seem to find anything related to what I'm looking for, and nothing in the documentation.

Does anyone have a solution for me? I just want to use my amp and dock connector with the new ipod

The new Touches need a different pin configuration. I believe ALO has already developed a working solution, and I'm sure DIYers already have or will soon have sanely priced options coming soon.
