The mod is easy to do, all that you need is a Beyerdynamic DT990 Velour earpads (i think that one of a DT880 may work, but not sure. It have black foam with circular holes (i refer to the DT990 earpads))..., and a foam of the size of the inner write ring, the other is well explained. It will convert your denon in a True monster of headphone (the markl mods earpad mod is a child's game in comparisson, sorry)
Cheers

I read the mod link. Have you heard the markl mod to compare? anyway, part of the big change in sound could also have been that the cans were still burning in. We don't know for sure what the mod exactly did. Can you explain further?

Yes, i have. It only expands a little the soundstage (specially depth), but not to the level of this mod. And not, it isn't attributable to burn in (The headphones haven't changed much since some days), because i have been compared regularly and the differences are the same.
Ah, when you speak of we; speak for you. We, are all (or almost all).... In the thread, it is well explained....

WE(speaking for everyone that have not heard your modded cans) still don't know why it is better than the markl mod.

Well, you have to prove it for yourself to see....

Slightly Recessed Mids on some Pop/Rock songs ive listened to including Sibilant Highs. (Tried on iPod Classic, and thats about it, no issues since on my own Computer thou :P)

Flabby/Tubby Bass happened during mostly R&B, Hip/Hop songs, the bass had alot of extension to it and almost felt slow, but i didnt like the sound of the bass at all :P Maybe its the song i dont like R&B with the type of bass they used and D2000 just brought out all of it and very prominant all the time :P (This is at work's computer, havent tried it at home with those songs)

Still could be the source :P
