I'm selling my Oritek desktop DAC.
I bought it a couple of weeks ago from http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f43/fs...k-sold-357039/.
Now I have moved my both rigs upstairs, so I don't need 2 dac's anymore (I still have the superior Stello dac).

Currently, the dac is not working (minor damage) because it has been used on 240 V circuit while it's only meant to be used on a 110 V circuit.
You can find more info on 110V to 240V conversion http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f7/zha...v-help-356121/ here.

Offers are welcome.

Yeah, I'm messaging Alex about it. Either it's a price mistake or someone's taking his thumbs.

Captain took a look at the components: "I had a look all the components seem OK, but hard to say with out
checking every one individual with a meter, I do think it is power though. Could be
a blown transformer, but I am only guessing."
"If you used Belgium power network you would of blown something. As said I think it
could be the transformer which is easy to get sorted. You need to use a step down
transformer to use US voltage in the EU. Here is a tread I posted on another forum
before the DAC arrived regarding such a thing. LINK
(Looking for a good step down transformer. - 2 Channel Debate - All things HiFI and AV - HiFi WigWam - HiFi Forum...) At
the end of the day you should be able to get it repaired for not too much money.

I hope this is the case."

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about electronics; I am not capable of repairing it, so it would be better to pass it to someone who has knowledge of it.
