2008 Ryder Cup...Anyone watching?

I can't believe there hasn't been a thread about this years Cup. I thought we had quite a few golf players on the boards...
I, for one, will be glued to the telly this afternoon, the Bills be dammed!! Although I think Faldo has made a bit of a blunder not front-loading his team for the early matches...Didn't that tactic work not so long ago for the Euros?
Some of the golf has been stunningly sublime, with just amazing shots and some of it has been ugly - Stensons' chunked chip anyone?
Can't wait....

I have been monitoring it from time to time - I have a feeling the USA is going to nab it this time around. As the missus does not like golf I am watching some of it via PGATour streaming which is okay apart from the endless adverts...

I've been watching most of the weekend, I don't even play golf but for some reason I can't turn it off. Hope the European's can make a comeback this afternoon.

Over the three days they played the better golf and deserved the win.

Yup..the US nailed it. Biggest win for some time! I think the US were into it from the first match on Friday....and the Euro's never overcame the hole they dug themselves into after getting stomped Friday morning.
Bl**dy great golf though, which ever way you slice it..
Bring on Wales 2010!

Even though I am US, I really only want to see great matches. Bonus that the US won, but some really good golf played. Poulter was pretty unstoppable, and Justin Rose played very well also. Mickelson was rather uninspiring, as were Harrington, Garcia and Westwood. I couldn't believe the stone cold top that Harrington hit as a second shot on a par 5 on Friday (IIRC)...
