Hello Friends,
Since I only have the K1000 with a power amp, I have no need for these great cable, so the are up for sale.
Both cable are made by me (I've made many cables in the past and upgraded many headphones, many of which were sold here on Head-Fi so you can be sure I know what I'm doing and the cable will work flawlessly and look great for many years to come).
First cable is the 1/4" to 1/8", PL to mini-PL, 6.5mm to 3.5mm adapter cable.
It uses Neutrik NYS231BG 3.5mm connector, and the Neutrik NJ3FC6 1/4" locking jack. The wire in use is the Canare Star-Quad, and its finished with black Tech-flex. This cable is shielded (to reduce noise caused from electronic components), yet constructed in a way which reduces capacitance of the cable well below the level of any standard shielded cables. Tip-to-Tip this cable is 35cm long (about 1ft).
Price for this cable is $old which is the cost of parts+shipping which I've paid.

The second cable is a cable made for the AKG K-1000 owners. Its is a 4-Pin-XLR to 1/4" male and its used to connect the K1000's to a headphone jack. This is great for use with either good and powerful headphones amplifiers, or with vintage speaker amp (in which the headphone out is connected to the speaker outputs with just a small resistor to reduce the gain by a few DB's). This cable uses the Neutrik NP3X-B 1/4" connector and the Neutrik NC4FXX-BAG XLR jack. The wire in use is the Canare Star-Quad, and the cable is finished with black Nylon Multi-filament sleeve. Tip-to-tip it is 80cm in length (about 2.5ft).
Since this cable is used for higher voltage purposes (K1000's are power hungry as you know) the cable is not shielded, as such shielding is not needed for these voltages in a home environment, and adding shielding will increase capacitance of the cable which will decrease bass output of the K1000's.
Price for this cable is 40$ which is cost of parts+shipping which I've paid.

Shipping will be 5$ with registered air-mail worldwide, for one of the cable or both.
As always, all the cable were tested with both testing tool, and by listening to the to make sure all contacts are 100% rigid. All the soldering points are covered with silicon for isolation.
As I always offer on all the cables I make, if at any time in the two years there is any problem with the cable (be it from regular wearing of the parts or damage caused by the buyer), I will repair the cable for the cost of parts+shipping only.
Thank You,
Anatoli.
