Impressions of Avantgarde Speakers (Singapore trip) - Page 2

post #16 of 20
I've just brought some Duos and a Tron discovery amp (TRON Discovery 300B amplifier)

I ended up spending twice my planned budget and it was all the wife's fault! OOooo they look pretty can we try them...

I am interested with this. I would like to have an avantgarde speaker at my place. The problem is I do not have a spacious place, any suggestions on what will fit to my place?

Nice, I bought my K1000 amp from the very same store.

Did you met with Cecil?

The Avantgarde website lists the recommend room size under specification page.

Uno - > 16 sqm
Duo -> 20 sqm

Avantgardes can be placed pretty close to the back wall without any issues, the main thing I read is that you want the distance between you and the speaker more than 3-4 meters

My place is pretty small too, we went with the Duos as at the end of the day when I move somewhere bigger I wouldn't want to have to upgrade my speakers. My Tron amp hasn't arrived yet so I can't tell you how well its working in my small space.

...I heard the same Avantgarde Duo Mezzo setup as Veefy at the Adelphi and was very impressed.
