iPod Nano Price Drop

While I was wandering around KMart, I happened to see that they had 8gb iPod Nanos reduced to $130, down from $199. I thought to myself that Apple must be introducing a new line-up. Sure enough, upon arriving home I saw a TV advert for new colorful Nanos.

The new nanos are cheaper too if i recall correctly. Although id be more tempted to buy the 120Gb 5g ipod for 229$.... if only i lived in the US. iPods sold in europe are a ripoff... They dont hug trees or anything so why make them so much more expensive?

I thought the 5th gens topped out at 80gb, then 60gb with the gen 5.5.

I have a 30gb 5.5, and that capacity is more than sufficient for me.

That's got to be the Classic, not the 5 or 5.5. Sweet deal though.

I'm VERY tempted to pick one up at that price (it's even cheaper at Apple's refurbished store)....but then I remember how the SQ was pretty "average" at best :\

That's what the LOD & headphone amp are for.

FWIW, the headphone out on my Classic is a HUGE improvement over my old 3G model. I can't wait to hear it from the line out once I get an amp for it.
