I owned a pair of pk2's but destroyed them. My own falt. Want to buy new headphones and want to know if i should rebuy the pk2's or get ok3's instead.
I liked the pk 2's but wish it gave a bit more punch. Im comboing them with my fiio amp and cowon D2.
I do not want canals so please don't recommend me any.

I cannot comment on the OK line but I have the whole PK series and I actually think the PK3 sounds better then the PK2.

I cannot recommend the PK2.

I use this scale.

OK1 > PK1 > OK2 > OK3 = PK2 > PK3

Funny. You are just using the price scale to rate the audio quality. Absolutely genious!

The PK3 is a better value in that you get more for your $$ and it will give you more "punch" but the PK2 has a more refined sound and overall the SQ is better.

BTW, I don't use an amp with the Yuins. The D2 is more than capable of driving them and an amp doesn't add to SQ IMHO.

Actually no. PK2 is considerably more expensive than OK3. I equated them in terms of SQ, making the OK3's better value than the PK2's (I'll admit, I haven't listened to either the OK1 or PK1, but others have and tend to agree that the OK1's sound better than the PK1's).

I don't agree with you that PK3's sound better than PK2's though.

The PK2 severely lacks bass quantity and have too much treble. Wich makes them sound unnatural and too bright. I've compared them to the PK1s and the PK3s but also with Sleeks SA6. I can hear the same amount of details in music as with the PK3 .

Its instinct to equate better SQ to higher price but in this case its wrong. Though it all depends on what sound signature you like. I think they are just a little bit too high on the trebles and need a bit more bass quantity.

Ok i think i may go get the PK3's but put everything aside what you guys say about the ok2's. I herd they don't really need an amp but with my fiio it will bring something. I know there more expensive buy most of my listening are on the go so why not.
Man I love my fiio. Makes any of the headphones i used sound so much better to bad for no volume control.

OK2's, definitely. I even prefer OK3's to PK3's. And the OK3's sound awesome with the Fiio. I've tried it (didn't try OK2 with Fiio though, as I didn't own one then).
