Hello,
I want to show you my new headphone stand from S² Audio.
Steve did a beautiful job!
It was designed to match my Grado Elite’s from HEADPHILE.
I should receive the stand by Saturday.

wow
how much did they cost?

I find myself staring more at the headphones than at the stand.

Lil' Knight,
Here is the link to S² Audio’s web site.
The prices depend on the wood used.
The basic Sundance line of stands stand at $49 and the customs go up from there.

Nice stand, though it is to be expected from Steve.

Any more deatails on those 'Grado Elites'? What drivers are in there?

This is the description from HEADPHILE.

Grado Elite — Wide tops, deep version with multiple layers of Ebony and Bloodwood with matching end tips, splitter, CJC on the 2.0 meter BlackGold to Neutrik 1/4" plug, with domed stealth screens. Rare Joe Grado red lettered headband with black rod locks, new flat pads (and bowls). Drivers current Grado, 325i tweaked by HEADPHILE.

Nice.

They must look 'interesting' when worn.

The wooden earcups are really awesome!

That stand is beautiful. I particularly like the wide band of wood at the top for the headband to rest on, the thin bands used in some of the Woo stands worry me with headphones that use leather padding.

Glad you like it Ray! It's on it's way to you, and it looks better in person IMO. I'm not a very good photographer.

I had fun building it for you. And don't ever leave it unattended near philodox, he's a Bloodwood fanatic!

Really fantastic work from both companies based on the looks of it.

I have a double sundance stand and for the money, it is VERY nice.

If you are broke though - $5 bamboo bannana stands at Walmart. I don't know why - bu walmart has started to carry a LOT of bamboo items. Though on a personal level...it is not a place I like purchasing much from.
