I have been using these headphones for about a week now, my first serious phones. I maybe have 25 hours in them. Overall, I really like them, very clean, clear, balanced sound. And, since I was pre-warned that there would be NO soundstage, I am pleased to find that this isn't true across the board. It seems to depend on the recording, and I find more soundstage with jazz than with classical.

There is only one thing that is bothering me. When there is heavy brass, such as in big band, or hot swing, it is harsh. This is the ONLY time I hear anything grating. All other highs are sweet.

I know it's unlikely, but are there any long term users out there who can tell me whether this harshness is likely to mellow with time?
