I tried all the tips that come with the pl-30 and like the big gray and the black bouble flange best. The big gray are a little deeper than the big black. Any other thoughts on good tips for the pl-30?

The Ultimate Ears bi-flanges work pretty well. You might also consider the Head Direct RE1/2 silicone bi-flange sleeves. They are the longest bi-flange sleeve I've come across so far.

bi-flanges

WOW talk about service. Sat night about 11 pm I ordered the bi-flanges from head-directand about 1/2 hour ago I got an e-mail from head-direct that my bi-flanges have been shipped. That took about 1 hour for them to charged my card and ship the bi-flangeds on a sunday night about 12pm.

lewislink: There are 10 filters that come with the bi-flanges. If you would like to have them just pm me your address.

Thank you very much, LTUCCI, but I don't have the RE2s any longer. I'm sure there will be someone in need of them, though. You should be able to use them on your PL30s as they have the same size nozzle.

Are there any mods for the pl-30. I noticed that the nozel has a thin covering there. Could I remove the covering and put the screen filters in place of it? Ops sorry about that. I looked at the pl-30 and they have a screen in the nozel. I guess I saw the thin covering on my JVC66. Still would be nice to have a mod for the pl-30.

Those are actually filters and most likely the RE2 filters will fit the nozzle of the PL30s. But, until someone who has removed the PL30 filters can speak up about the process, I won't recommend any such thing as I've not removed them and don't have intentions of doing so. I find the current state of my PL30s to be exemplary and don't want to mess with it.

I'm wondering if I should get a set, since I have fit problems with my SF5pros.

If they sound as good as my SF5pros, than I may well get a pair.
