Ordered already....looking forward to comparing them to my ESW9s.

I don't usually think of myself as a collector but the equipment that I have gotten recently is as much collector items as quality items.

Hi - yes, I was at IFA and saw and heard them for the first time there. As far as I know, there are some going to the US, but I couldnt say for sure. I know that the production was limited to just 1540 pieces for all countries and that Japan are getting about 1000 of them. Europe in total are getting 150 pcs but already have orders for over 100 of them.

You can check the payment on pricejapan. They give you a price quote on line. The dollar is moving all over the place so who knows if when they come out at the price I paid?

Is bluetin wrong when they say it retains the same 42mm driver from the ES7/ESW9 series?
The AT JP website says different.

also heard they are a bit delayed? maybe not if you're thinking end of october, but later than the 17th.

Where did you hear that they were delayed?
I placed a preorder too, and really hope that is false.

I haven't heard anything definite to that effect, but did get this email a few days ago from bluetin:

as of now, there is no clear indication from AT and distributor that the product will be released as promised on 17 oct.

as u may know, it is common for release dates to be postponed, sometimes up to 1-2 weeks.

we are working closely with our supplier to ensure you are ahead in the queue, and will be allocated a piece when the first few batches are released.

I bet they will be. If not, people will flip them from time to time.

I on the other hand will be keeping mine (along with the other Woodies I am in the process of re-buying).

I got the same mail but it wasn't so bad actually as they've been shipped. Hope they are shiny enough to blind the customs-guys and slip right through...
