Need recommendations on PC speaker for my laptop (~200)

So my crappy old creative speakers finally died after 4 years, and I'm looking to get a good speaker pair (either 2.0 or 2.1) for my dell xps M1210.

I was looking at audioengine A2 as it has been recommended quite a bit, and it's rather easy to get in vancouver.

It's generally going to be used with music, and I don't want to use external amp with them.

Are there better products than audioengine A2? or should I just go grab one tomorrow?

Thanks!

EDIT: seems that I've confused few people with no-amp comment. What I meant to say was that I didn't want to use an external amp for the speakers.

I'm pretty sure the Audioengines are amped.

A pair of Behringer 2030Ps or other studio monitors should fit the bill admirably.

I DO need to amp them?? I thought they didn't need additional amping (don't they already have internal amps built into them?)

If you can spend a bit more the A5s have a sub out in case you want to add a sub in the future and have a little better extension, oh and they're a bit more powerful too.
