Yeah, those are some nice headspeakers to match up with the Signature 30.2.
Not quite what the OP are looking for though.

It'll be nice to listen mine Tannoy mini autograph with the 30.2.

A dream for the instance, but a good choice i think.

I've heard this amp drive a pair of Acoustic Zen Adagio with ease. They are fairly large, yet efficient speakers. Just to give you an idea of what the amp can successfully drive.

Interesting, for sure!
The Ocellia Grandis Calliope.30 Silver and Grandis Calliope.21 Silver looks like ideal match' for the Signature 30.2.
* Full range driver.
* High sensitivity (97-97dB).

They look great as well.

I believe it won't be easy to tell much about the speakers (since these are my first high-end speakers), I feel it will be easier to compare them with my headphone "experience" (especially the Akg K1000's). I can tell you now that the Akg K1000's sound more detailled and the soundstage is much better.
I really miss them, but I had to sell them to be able to invest in high-end small speakers. I do not regret the speaker purchase.
Also, there is a problem with my speakers stands (steel foundations)!
The isolation pads (important for speaker vibration) are missing (so I can't mount them yet ). This means, I can't really write a definitive review yet.
The 2nd subwoofer cable has finally arrived and I have been able to mount the ACI speakers properly. Now I am burning in the subwoofer, and I believe the ACI main speakers still need about 30 hours burn-in.

Oh I miss my headphone rig sometimes, I still have a portable rig but the SR-80 ain't good enough. I just need a decent headphone amp and headphone.

I like the speaker rig very much, but with heaphones there are more details revealed.

Speakers are great when you want to move around freely, they are open air.

The bass is much better, especially with a subwoofer.

But when you want to listen detailled, you put your headphones on

I believe you can't compare cans with speakers (it's like appels vs oranges).

Yes, they are great! Stupid of me to have sold them both (they were Equinox hardwired)
post #26 of 28
Yeah, I was going to suggest you re-acquire a K1000.
Since you already have a more or less "perfect" amplifier to drive one..
