The K1000's truly put the "dynamic" in dynamic headphones.

Cheers,
I'll try to post pics. I've never posted a pic of my own actual photography but will try to figure it out.

I'm floored how it mates well with vinyl. Very natural sound. Good 3D range.

Congratulations!! They are GREAT cans...the best I've had.

I sold mine a while ago...they had (for me) a fatal flaw: TOO open. There were too few opportunities to listen where I wasn't either intruding on others, or they on me. One of these days, when the kids are spending more time out of the house, maybe I'll find another pair.

I'm curious to hear what you think with the Woo Amp...

It has a lot of power. Drives headphones with ease and grace. The amp has very good tone. I will keep it forever. The synergy of the K1000 and vinyl with amp is really so nice.

You mention "too open". I agree and for CDs it can be but IMO these headphones were made for vinyl and sounds right.

I've never, I'm sad to say, heard them with vinyl.

BTW - The "too open" comment was more a reference about my general circumstances, and not intended to be a comment on the K1000's (other than they don't work in my listening environment because I have two kids and televisions to deal with in my listening area). The K1000 in my house caused the same problems as when I wanted to listen to my speaker rig.

Congratulations!
The K1000 are indeed a magic pair of headphones.

Welcome to the world of "earspeaker" where it surpasses all dynamic headphones in the world.
