I'm still trying to finish up either of my amps so I'll have a functional rig, but I should most likely be attending this meet.

Looks like it will be a great meet. Looking forward to impressions.

Fitz, Mr. Monkey

Fitz, I look forward to meeting you and any friends/family you may bring. I'm glad you're planning to join us.

Try to convince Mr. Monkey to come along too. New York isn't THAT far from Charlotte.

Hey............

You can't blame a guy for trying.

I spoke with Ken from ALO today. Looks like he’s sending a Pelican case of top-shelf stuff (like recabled headphones and IC cables from his private stock). Also looks like the new Red Wine Audio / ALO dedicated headamp is on track to make what may very well be its world debut at the meet. [The schedule is tight, but public statements like this keep pressure on them to get 'er done! ]

Vinnie and Ken have taught me more about their design and approach. I won’t preannounce what they have not put in the public domain, but this baby will have a handful of innovative features that should really appeal to the Headfi crowd (...like lithium battery operation is just a down payment). The yet to be named headamp will also be housed in a wood enclosure -- CNC machined from a single piece of wood.

Add to this Danny's K-1000s and my personal Red Wine Audio rig (including the Isabella), and I'm going to need a Brinks Guard at my listening station

I might need to leave my credit cards at home

Any further word on getting the Luxman headamp in for the show?. I talked to Todd at TTVJ and he said he could probably send us one. I directed him to Danny and or Drew.

Luxman

I've not heard from Todd. I did exchange a few emails previously and he stated he was not able to attend. It would be great if he would like to send the Luxman and any other goodies that would help promote TTVJ. Perhaps he contacted Drew but I have not heard from him.

Three or four Head-Fiers in a car with a good stereo system, sounds like a fun road trip to me. Think about it.

I've driven farther for less of a reason than this.

four head-fiers jammed in a car stereo blasting heading down I-85. There would some interesting stories I bet.
