Power supply mods including custom RAM diode bridge, Jensen 4 pole capacitor and Rubycon capacitors. Furutech gold plated IEC jack.

Rubycon ZL/ZLG caps replace all critical decoupling caps on audio board. Re-designed output stage including high quality National Semiconductor Opamp and WBT copper RCA jacks. Superclock 4 and Superclock 4 power supply installed.

All wiring used throughout is Audio Consulting silver with cotton sleeves.

This player has a liquid and resolute sound. Effortless dynamics. Micro detail without ever sounding etched. With the Superclock 4, the bass is truly world class. These mods also bring about phenomenal video performance.

Attachment 7785

$1465 new, asking $950.

There once was a universal player named Oppo
Whose sound was just fine and musical from the get go
Then Kyle from RAM moded it to the teeth like a mofo
Ruby caps,NS Opamp,WBT RCAs & Superclock 4 put this mutha in turbo
Stop going back and forth with amps and headphones like a YoYo
Just make like Neo and go to this source like a raging rhino
And you will hear a sound that has all the beauty of a rainbow

$600 alone for the clock & PSU~no cheap parts were used to just make do
When compared by a who's who to a $8.5K AMR CD-77 at an audiophile venue
The Oppo pulled and audio snafu~and considered the best with little room to argue
With its awesome sound you'd think it's voodoo~how the Oppo pwns at such a value
I'm sure the Apollo & 1UP give nice Haiku~but the RAM Oppo would be the guru

Yogi, that's awesome!

I'd've considered it if you'd've thrown in the cable stands. Oh well...
