Agreed. There's at least 3 threads in this section, and I remember seeing a post in the headphone section as well. There needs to be an official thread set up.

Great catch!
Envious to all of you who are able to have important visitors (vendors, distributors, ..) attending your local meetings.

Joe Grado

Those posting here to suggest changes to Grado headphone design should have done their homework before submitting posts. Joe is retired. John Grado or Chaipis, his engineer, run the Grado enterprise now.

ME! I would like to be added to the update list. I live in raleigh and have been lookin for a chance to try out some different headphones and portable amps. I hope theres a big turnout, and just in time b/c early january I plan to invest in new headphones and a new portable amp/dac. YAY! I'll help in any way that I can, but prob best I could do is carpool/provide snacks. lol

We look forward to seeing you there.

We look forward to seeing you there. I am anticipating between 75-125 attendees especially with Joe Grado, Drew of Moon Audio, Dennis Had of Cary Audio and Mikhail of Singlepower fame planning to attend. I am in the process of having more "celebrities" attend through the efforts of some of our fellow Head-fiers. I'll keep everyone udated.

I'm looking to upgrade also . This will be a good chance "hopefully" to improve on an already great system . It's great to demo and improve my personal taste in sound . Talk about making your best pick easier .
Best , Bob

Buy/Sell/Trade SwapMeet at the CanFEST

While there will be more about this later we plan to encourage a Buy Sell Trade event at the CanFEST to allow attendees to sell or get new equipment. This is not limited to headphone related gear but any audio related stuff.

We ask that no loud demos be done other than to show something works to avoid noise for the headphone listeners. Dealers and manufacturers will also likely have some goodies to sell at bargain prices.

Sweet. I was gonna wait till after the meet to make my next big purchases, but maybe I'll get some of it done at the meet. To anyone going, I'm in the market for a good portable amp/dac :-D and some good closed cans. Although, who knows what I may end up buying once I get there.....
