Joe GRADO WILL attend the Southern/Charlotte CANFEST 2009

I had dinner with Joe and his lovely wife this evening and he would be delighted to join us for our Southern CANFEST. His plan is to show up and meet many of the attendees and perhaps give a short presentation if people so desire.

Realistically, I think we are looking after the first of the year as that will give us time to better organize things and is also better for Joe, given his busy schedule. So, those who are interested in attending AND/or helping out please email me so I can put you on the update list. Dealers and manufacturers are welcomed.
Thanks,
Danny

Wow, you guys are quite lucky to have such a presence to your meet! I'm jealous .

Someone tell him to make circumaural headphones! Because supra-aural are just horrible things to wear! That's the only reason stopping me (and of course others) from buying anything from Grado.

You mean make a Sennheiser? I don't see why he'd need to do that. Sennheiser already makes a Sennheiser.

Grado has a signature sound. Why change it? Lol.
But I have to agree. Grado headphones are one of the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever used.

Joe Grado will give a lecture on headphones at the Charlotte CANFEST.

Joe said it would be his pleasure to give about a 30 minute presentation on headphone related stuff and will then answer questions from the attendees in addition to staying around for awhile to talk with everyone.

We are planning for Saturday 2/21/09 in Charlotte.
Please Email me if you plan to attend in addition to what cans, amps, etc. you will be bringing so I can put a list together. Manufacturers and retailers are encouraged to join us.
Thanks,
Danny

Someone, please take a video camera and post it online. I'm very curious on what he has to say. Please.

Good idea

We'll try to get someone to volunteer to be our videographer. Any volunteers?

Thanks Danny! I wish I could help out. It would be nice to put a face on the founder. Even if it's audio only, getting some insights would be great.

Joe Grado at a meet. This is a one-in-life-time chance. Walk, drive, car pool, fly, do what ever. The chance of this opportunity coming again is between slim and none. THIS will be a great meet.

Great catch! Maybe I can get a few Atlantans to share gas expenses.
