FS diyMod iPod Nano 4GB Black with DIY iMod LOD

I borrowed an amplifier so I finally tested the iPod out and it works! Line out is straight from the DAC, and I removed one headphone out cap in the process by accident so headphone out does no longer work 100% (only the left channel works). No amplifier is included.

If you have any questions about the diyMod or which components were used, just ask. Everything is sealed with hot glue and insulated with heatshrink where possible. What you see is what is included. Ignore the very scratched table.

In the interest of full disclosure, the sides of the iPod are a bit bruised where I used a screwdriver to open the case. It's nothing immediately noticeable because the black hides it. Otherwise I would give the casing a comfortable 8/10, and it has a bestskinever already installed on the front and back (not on the clickwheel though - it makes scrolling harder).

Going for 150 AUD shipped within Australia (cc paypal requires a fee which will be calculated later). The cost of the components cost me more. I might also be open to trades for anything so just offer (additional money trades to be calculated as well), but more interested in IEM, portable headphones. I do need a pair of Marshmellows (JVC FX33), so if you have one of these in new condition, I'll take it as $20 AU value.

Bump. Just add some info on each bump:

The LOD is made of a Ridax large black connector, internally there are two BlackGate 4.7uF capacitors wired inside, then connected to three strands of Jena 22G Cryo to a black/gold Neutrik 3.5mm connector. Very flexible.

Would you consider trades? e.g. my Archos 405?

Sorry, didn't realise anybody had posted. I will consider trades, but not the Archos 405 =( PM me if you have any other ideas.

How good does this diyMod compares to RWA iMod or to the stock LOD? I might be a little interested on it...

I've never had the RWA iMod so I wouldn't be able to tell. I'm guessing the difference between stock LOD and the diyMOD will be similar to the difference between stock LOD and iMod (I think the nano uses the same Wolfson chip as the 5G or 4G iPod?).

Do be warned that the caps didn't fit inside the iPod so they're inside the diyMOD LOD, meaning you cannot ever test the iPod using a regular LOD unless you have a special amplifier which can take the signal.

Price dropped to $160 AUD shipped within Australia. More for overseas depending on whether insurance, etc are needed (and another warning: Australian international insurance/registration is absurdly expensive).

$150 AUD shipped. The total value of parts is greater than this amount (case, bestskinsever installed, diyMod, LOD).

An iMod LOD made exactly like mine was sold on the forums for $45 US shipped a few days ago.
