Hi!

I'm looking on the Paradisea, will it be a good match to use it with a tube amp? dv332. Maybe i should consider another dac?

I don't have a DarkVoice amp, but I use a Paradisea+ with my Millett MAX with excellent results. I like the natural relaxed sound of a non-oversampling DAC which imparts an analog-like quality to the music. Note that I have upgraded my Paradisea+ (as well as my Constantine+) with V-Caps at the output.

You should try to audition a NOS DAC to see if you like their sound presentation before buying.

Hey, thanks for your input. I'm not intrested in modding, have no skills. First i was looking on the Constantine+ but it does not have dip IC socket for the opamp?

I'm using my Paradisea+ with a Cayin HA-1A. It sounds lush and warm but it sometimes gets too much. Overall it sounds excellent IMO.

I have my Paradisea with Redbank tube connected to a transformer coupled Trafomatic tube amp. The sound is very musical and detailed with not the slightest tubey fat slow sound. Very fast and neutral yet analogue. I listen primarily to jazz and XRCDs. This is a great combination and I highly recommend the combo.

I use Paradisea+ with Tube Technology pre and mono blocks. It sounds good to me and not overly warm.

I read that the analog output was 1.8V on the constantine+ isn't that a bit low?

I used my paradisea+ in both speakers and headphone, very musical. Everything seems just real comparing to other digital dac. OTOH, if you're not too keen on a tube out buffer, you can try the Keces 131 w/ the new National opamp upgrade, alot of ppl like it. If you wanna go full tube (which I'm about to do), take a look at the MHDT Hanava, haven't try it, but ppl said it's an worthy upgrade over paradisea. I'm hoping to get one in couple weeks.
