Hi, I was looking for an uber cheap headphone amp and came across these two models.

The FiiO is about 9 bucks on DealExtreme whereas the HA400 sells for about $40 at my local music store.

Any opinions? My budget lies around =<$50 AUD

With what source did you intend to use it? The fiio does not have a volume control, so does not work well with line-out.

my iPod Classic

I don't have any cans as of yet, but I may be purchasing the Audio-Technica AD900 or A900.

If you want to carry the amp around with you, it's a no-brainer.
