How do I take my KSC-50's apart?

They're broke, and I want to do experimentations on them!!

Muahahaha!!

How do I take them apart?

*brandishes a butterknife and starts giggling maniacally*

1) (optional) take off the pad.

2) pull gently (one hand gripping the silver, the
other one gripping the black plastic)

Aw, hell!

I got the WORKING half off, but the other driver is being fussy!!

ok, different strategy:

place two fingers left and right from the place where the cord enters the driver.
Then push them deeper in - between the driver housing and the silver part.
Push deeper until the driver pops off

Oh, okay, I *think* I fixed my rattle.....

I think it might have been the two dog hairs on the right driver.....
