Head-Direct ships from USA or China?

hi, the fax number on their site seems to be an american one, but for what I have read they ship directly from China, can someone confirm?

Directly from China, is correct. Head Direct takes the orders and submits them to the manufacturer in China where they're made.

strange, yuin uk write on their site they will ship from London, very good to avoid vat in Europe

If I am not mistaken, Head-Direct will ship U.S. order from with in U.S. and international order from China. Yuin U.K. is a dealer and not Head-Direct, therefore they ship from their own UK base.

All I can say is mine had China postage on it.

To me it seems like they ship out from the US.
At least thats how I interpret the shipping rates of the Head-Direct EF1.

Cause if they ship from China I don't see how worldwide shipping would be 2 1/2 times (!!) the shipping rate to the US.

Just ordered his new amp -- the SS/tube hybrid -- and I am so excited! This was the sensation at the NJ meet. I don't care if it ships from the moon as long as it gets here quickly. I have never amp'd my Senns with tubes and I'm told I am in for a treat.

BTW he came to the NJ meet in person ... he is without doubt a gentleman and businessman with the highest possible standards. I am sure he ships the best way possible for you, the consumer. Just like Ray of RSA, he puts the customer first, all day, every day.

It depends greatly on what you order. Some stuff is in stock in the US whereas some items ship directly from China. As long as you are dealing with him I wouldn't worry about a thing. A true gentleman that is keeps his promises, unlike some in this industry.

We have to do international express shipping to worldwide (mostly from China), which is very expensive. We do priority mail for US customers.

Do that mean that priority mail is not available from China to example Europe, but it is available from China to the US?

Lol. Not relevant. But as i accidentally bought the RE-1, it was with free express shipping wee(great and excellent)!. Hope i get it tomorrow (2 days so far)
