Here they are, my HP-FXC50-R canalphones - Page 2

Lewislink ... Interesting that the JVC Victors outperform the RE2s in your view. We have a pair of the RE2s around here (daughter using them with her iPod 5.5g) and when I stick on T400 Complys and amp them through the Zune80, the RE2s sound pretty darn good (and not bad unamped either). Hard to believe a $40 phone offers a better SQ. Guess I will never find out, but that is one from your list that I found interesting. Plus, you rate the Senn CX300s as a better sounding canalphone than the JVCs, and I find the Senns to have bloated, muddy bass and pretty poor overall (have them around too, my wife uses them). Same with the Zune OEM phones. Could not stand listening to them for more than 5 minutes. Sold them for $20.

Anyway, no big deal. Sounds like they are worth the $56 price (with S&H) in your view.

Sony's EX85/EX082 have a 13.5mm driver-surrounding the earbud, plus a angled ear piece, while the FCX50's seem to be very similar design-wise.

Wish JVC would release these outside of Japan soon.

Not really, since the driver is actually in the sound tube.

Here's how much I like the CX300s, and to gain the quality sound from them I have to make certain they are sealed correctly, our kitty munched on one of the wires and ruined them. I immediately bought another set.

The thing with the CX300s is to calmly listen to them while relaxing and a lot depends on the type of music being listened to. I use modern Jazz like David Sandborn, The Rippingtons and such. Apparently they are excellent for that type of music. Once a person is able to get the sound I'm referring to from these phones, they'll be hooked on them.

I have a feeling these will make it here within a year.

I also bought my FXC50 last week and immediately put away my previous ex90.

I am not say that ex90 sound bad, but FXC50 do provide a more comfortable sound for day to day listening.

EX90 has more detail especially listening to classical music, but I hate those sibilant in the Pop music (I live in Hong Kong, so those Pop are Canton Pop).

After comparing in noise isolation and overall sound quality, I will rate FXC50 over the EX90 in my view.

P.S. Sorry for my poor english....

I just stumbled upon that deal.

I just got a pair of HA-FXC50-B's and the first thing I noticed: the AMAZINGLY clear and tight bass. And I really mean it--it doesn't sound "flabby" and "boomy" like you get with a lot of IEM's out there--and it's way stronger than what you get with a lot of balanced-armature IEM's, too.

Pity that the treble is just a bit too "peaky." If JVC can fix that problem the HA-FXC50 would blow away many IEM's costing 5-7 times as much!

Original JVC HA-FXC50 Stereo 3.5mm Earbud Earphone - eBay (item 220427890724 end time Jun-11-09 00:51:59 PDT)

Is this fake?

I mean they were copying popular products back then but now this so early?
They must have seen a potential in that

Sorry to revive an old thread but theres not much talk of these here. Anyone know if the AI-M9 tips will fit these? I was looking at getting a pair, but I can't stand the generic standard silicone tips. The M9 dual-flanges fit my ears properly and make everything sound better, including my CX300's.
