Holy ****!!!!!! That's all I have to say about it. I was listening to Metallica's Mama Said before and the chorus was just the chorus, then I put the staple through. Then it was like my step-dad's stereo system, I could feel the bass in the chorus. Not like Linkin Park's Lying From You, but it was still awesome. Just one question, don't I you have to put a red hot staple through to keep the hole slightly bigger? If I do, I am going to do it tomorrow. I was tentative about it, but I love it. Kudos to whoever decided to try it in the first place.

You only use a red hot staple when you want to create a new hole, but that is not what this mod is about.

Yay, another converted SA6 user. I had a similar reaction. Went from 'where's the bass!?' one minute, to 'where did all that bass come from?'. It was a day and night experience.

What exactly do you mean by "put the staple through"?

You can mod the bass+ port by using a staple or needle to open the hole in the middle a bit. It opens up the bass, for some reason. Sounds like a bass++ port would maybe just make the bass+ hole a little bigger?

I had bass before, more than I was ever used to, but I was curious about the mod. Heard a lot people say it gives a lot of bass and opens up the soundstage (which I am not familiar with) but anyway, I got even more bass out of it after. I really love listening to Metallica's Mama Said again.
