cheap and somewhat effective Revolover Purdeys as my main speakers, and a pair of Revolver 80s lying around used as rears.
Purdys soon to be replaced by a pair of B&W 602.S3.

It's unfair to mix B&W CDM1se or 805 Signature series with Logitech Z series in the same post.

Anyway, my computer rig includes Pure Digital's ZXR-200. Its a 2+1 system (it exists also the ZXR-500 in 5+1). I think it's a very smart buy, it's cheap and sounds good. Very good when it takes to compare them with computer speakers.

You can take a look at the specs in Pure Digital web site.



The Home Theater setup includes the Mordaunt Short Premiere 5.1 system. The sound for the money is absolutely fabulous.

I have custom built Swans Taurus'. I got them when I worked for Swans, I even had a hand in building them. They are similar to the production version but the cabinet is different. The drivers are closer together, it's more heavily braced with thicker walls and an extra 1" thick front baffle. The only other difference is I tuned the port slightly lower to give a bit more extension at the expense of losing a bit of tightness. These babies work well with just about anything but especially sing with SET tube amps. Too bad they're paired with a modded Mission Cyrus I at the moment.

small 1-way system around a modified Fostex FE 103 Sigma (fiberglass dome) with a passive 5-band EQ «crossover» network in a back-loaded bass-reflex enclosure.



Main system:
unphotogenic 2-way system prototype around a modified Visaton AL130 (aluminum membrane) and a home-made fiberglass dome tweeter in a back-loaded bass-reflex enclosure.

But I barely listen through speakers since quite a long time.

At the moment some old Sony miniset speakers and an old Sony gettoblaster.
But Thanks to this forum I 'needed' to upgrade those desperately.
So there are some Dynaudio Audience 52's on order.
(Will get powered by a NAD amp)

Galante Rhapsody 8" dual-concentric 96dB/1w/1m.

I also have all the components and materials (baltic birch ply, that I already ripped) for a pair of Buschhorn MK2s/w Fostex 103 drivers.
