The connector on my monoprice cable broke, so I ordered one from bluejeanscable for $20. Digital Audio Cables at Blue Jeans Cable - the "Mitsubishi Eska POF". When I use it with my cable box and yamaha receiver, it works fine, but when I use it from my AV710 soundcard to my MHDT constantine DAC, I get no audio and the LED stays red, which indicates that there is no digital signal present. Using another cable the Constantine works fine. I still see light through the cable though... what gives?
