1) everyone is out of DV332 & say DV3322 is the new DV332 so shall I buy DV3322?
2) will buying a Citypulse DA7.2xII DAC to drive the HD650 be a better choice than buying DV3322?

Hmmm. Worth a thread of its own, don't you think?

Well... maybe.

Its unlikely DV would have modified the DV332 not to sound as good as the DV332... but... you never know. Reportedly... they dropped the Solen caps for Roderstein Caps, and made a few more changes that supposedly open the soundstage and add detail - but who knows?

The DV332 sounds so good... it's difficult to believe it could be made to sound better - though... if its soundstage has been increased, and detail is greater, while retaining the great power, bass, mids and highs, and organic tone - then "that would be a good thing."

The price has been increased about $100. I guess the only way to know... is... to try one.

DV3322 is costing me $400 + $100 shipping so shall I buy it or shall I buy a Citypulse DA7.2xII DAC?

Try source first! it is the most important. if you're not satisfied after that, you can still try a new amp. It is however better to have source and amp at the same high level!

P.s.
i really like your dj kitty picture!LOL.

Has anyone tried the shanling ph3000 with these yet? I came back from my local audio store and I got a very good impression of the shanling and even the shanling personal cd player. But they both have a warm sound, I don't know if that would help or hurt the sennheiser's sonic signature
