I've be posting about the REFERENCE and the lack of shipments, not the IVs. If I'm ordering a Reference why the heck would I go wading through a 33 page thread that was closed by the vendor 10 months before I placed my order? I had no desire for a previous generation IV product. Get a clue.

Nowhere have I claimed I'm an expert on his lines. What I have claimed is the guy puts his customer's orders on terminal hold. Most rational people agree that 12-16 months way out of the norm and I'm sorry for your thin skin if that bothers you.

Dude, I welcome you to dredge through the wayback machine to find where I called you a phoney/fraud or Xin. Good luck with that...

It has been obvious for a long time that Itsborken never misses an opportunity to criticise Xin.

Unfurtunately given Xin's performance the last 12-16 months it's rather too easy to do that

I'd have been happy to praise him if he shipped my amp in a reasonable time before I gave up on him. Who knows, I may praise his design if I can ever get one at a reasonable price. It's easier to shift the issue to me vs. Xin, the real cause of the mess.

Back to the topic of the thread though, have you run across a message from Xin stating what the four channels are exactly (where)? Have you found the document on the IV circuit design he said he'd release to the world at some point?

EDIT: nevermind. wasn't a very constructive post

Rhythmdevils, do you have a link to where Xin has described what 'four channel' really represents?

The closest explanation I found is: With my 4-channel technology, not only the left and right channels are separated like the dual-mono structure found in high-end amps, so are the front and end stages" L, R, Front ground for OP/BUF, & End ground for headphone.

I do not claim to understand it, just quoting it.

That's great and I thank you for providing the information. Food for thought and an interesting idea...

Golly gee, another set of the interminable itsborken I hate Xin posts. What a surprise - he/she can post on no other subject. Check into the last 120 posts ...or so. What in the world did Dr. Xin do to this individual............or is it simply juvenile fetishism?

Or it could be a genuine interest in his Reference once the backlog is cleared. I've been following it's development since May 2007.
