Hey guys, I am new to this forum. Seems like a great community.
I need some help. I just bought the Ultimate Ears Super. Fi 4vi for my iphone. Great set of earphones. I read the review stuff on here and mostly agree with what I saw. Only thing that bothers me is the silicone eartips. I have a pretty small ear canal. The small tips do fit, but are not the most comfortable. They hurt after a couple of hours of wear.
Now before I got these, I had the v-moda vibe duos for the iphone. I returned them because I did not like the over emphasis these tended to place on the lower end. However, these did feel great in the ears. I loved their silicone tips.
So this is why I want to know what the size of the stems are for the v-moda vibes. I am thinking I could order some tips for the vibes and then use them for the ultimate ears, but I don't know if the sizes match up or not.
Someone here has got to have a pair of these and can slap a ruler on them real quick to let me know. I mainly need to know the diameter. For the UE, they are 4 mm.
Please help, my ear canals will thank you greatly.
PS. and if this is a no go, any good recs for other tips that will work. I saw the comply foams, but the T-400s come in only one size and I am afraid they will be too large for my small ear canals. Thanks guys/gals.
