Build Quality: For something hand built, the overall build quality is quite good. Of course, it isn’t nearly as perfect as something from a plastic molding machine but it is far ahead from the...
Disclaimer: My only other good cans to compare these to are Beyerdynamics DT770 (250). I fully realize this review will be biased because of that. So please keep that in mind. This review is my...
First Impressions:
Well, when I first used these, I used them in the same place I'd expect myself to continue using these, on the go from place to place, and while at places outside the...
I bought these this week from amazon.co.uk for £10 including delivery. That's US $15.
Packaging, appearance, warranty, euro-nanny knows best:
Mine arrived in the small European packaging box,...
Absolutely beautiful little player. It's just a gorgeous chunk of tech that feels good to hold. For me personally tech has to have form as well as function and the AK120 doesn't disappoint on...
Did you know that the D2 fits into an altoids tin as well? You can become known as the weird guy who just listens to mint tins! Plus, the tins are sturdy!
lol. I've seen pics of this on the iaudio forums. Looked cool.
Picked up my portable rig yesterday. A 4GB silver Sansa Clip with JVC FX-33 Marshmallows. Sounds pretty good and I don't hear any noise around me. Very similar to my desk rig.
This is my desktop rig, Sony MDR-7506, LOD from member barqy, PA2V2 amp, to a current gen 4GB ipod nano silver model. Very good sound, and the headphones keep outside noise outside completely. I can't even hear someone talk if they are right beside me. My family laughs all the time.
I just got the pig canalphones yesterday; they're awfully cheap and it shows, but they actually sound great for their price. Not hi-fi for sure, but lots of fun.
If people weren't so critical of guys buying pink stuff, I'd have bought the pink A728. I think it looks nicer than my black one.
when I was at the store my dad said jokingly that I wouldn't have to cover any of the cost if I got the pink one. Hey it would've saved me the 50 or so I put out.

It's not such a big deal around here, but then i've never really cared much what people think or say about me. I always felt that if someone doesn't like my style that's their own problem

Considering the $12 I paid for the pig, it really sounds pretty good. It's kind of an audio cheeseburger; lots of bass, lots of highs and not a lot of substance. But for a cheap portable headphone what more can you really ask for? I only bought it because it was too cute to pass up, but i was pleasantly surprised to find it very useable.
