Im looking to upgrade my cable for the D2000's and have read that the D5000's cable is a nice upgrade. If anyone has one they've taken off theirs and no longer needs please send me a pm.
I dont know how much one is worth and my only general idea is from what another person offered to pay for one. Hopefully not much as I'm on a budget.

Let me know. $25+ shipping is what I had in mind but always willing to hear offers.
