Potential Wire Breakage Due To Folding

Thread Starter
I've got a pair of Proline 750s, which I love. I got one concern, though.
The wires that go from the earpieces through the earpiece supports are, when the earpieces are folded, bent at such an acute angle(at the pivots) that it's just a matter of time before the wires are broken(at least internally) by the stress of the bending....wire fatigue. Has anyone experienced wire breakage due to repeated folding of the earpieces? it could be an a costly issue, especially after the warranty expires.
Anyone agree that there's reason for concern?

I just gor an RMA number for that exact problem on a pair of 2500's... the wire broke where it enters the earpiece.

Having an appalling record with cables breaking I'm worried about the shoulder jabbing of my 2500's.

Don't think they thought that one through.
