Audio Technica ATH-L3000, the only High-End AT? - Page 4

Anyone have suggestions for what kind of recable I should get on my L3000? I'm leaning toward apuresound right now, but I'm wondering if there is something better.

Wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but seeing how there are quite a few L3000 owners in this thread might as well try.

I don't think apuresound is a good go for L3K based on my friends' opinions who tried that and found it's epic failure.

Thanks for the reply, that's exactly why I'm asking. I don't want to have to waste money on a recable and be unhappy with it. I hope your friend found a better alternative!

That's one off the list, any other options out there?

are you going balanced? if not, i would leave it stock. one should be reluctant to modify OOP headphones.

I'm not going balanced, but the cable is starting to get rather worn. It's not a big deal yet, but I guess I'll wait until it's absolutely necessary.
