What are you replacing them with?

Just launched an audio retail business and will have headphones galore around here.  With all the auditioning required and choices I'll have, it's time to sell the vintage gear.  Don't want to do any shameless plugging (as our offerings are still being rounded out, with more manufacturers needed to have a well-rounded selection).

I've had them at $330 but looks like there just isn't a buyer right now, might have to wait it out. Selling because I don't find myself using them now that I've moved out and have my own place. I use some studio monitors instead

Congrats!  I grew up in Valley Stream and was in Brooklyn all the time playing roller hockey in my teenage years!  Wish we had a headphone store out here................or should I say an audio store that has a huge selection of headphones.  Good luck with it!

I saw your ad.  That's a nice pair of headphones and I'd suggest keep refreshing it every three days when it's allowed.  It may take time as there are a lot of $300ish choices out there and some folks just don't realize how good a D2000 is..................especially modded!

is there a way to tell if my d2000 are the old (pre 2012) or new (post 2012)?

I'm still really enjoying my D5000's but the headband is almost completely disintegrated, has anyone found a solution/replacement for this?

I believe this will fit.  It is cheap and easy to install without having to disassemble the headphones, though you might need to cut off the existing headband.

Sennie 600/650 after-market cushion better comfort IMO.

Have ebay one and Sennie one.Need to glue it on though.

Another option - Martin Custom Audio reworks them with leather. If it's not too bad I'm with Lohb on using the Sennheiser HD650 pad with double stick tape. Have them on my D7000 and D2000 for a year or so.
