I use and like the Slappa hard case.

Lawton angles or Alpha pads or if you're bucks up Stax pads.

I just sent off my D7000 to BTG audio to have a Q French Silk 4' cable swapped out from the stock monster.

Thanks, will check them out.

BTW, do you have a link for the specific Slappa case?

Does anyone have any Fatmat or Dynamat to spare?  I'll gladly Paypal some $ - just need a bit to damp my wood cups on my D2000.

What made you decide to go ahead with the Wood Cup Dampen?

Just enough to do the cups on my D2000. Hard to guess - maybe 6" x 12" or something like that.

Doing it out of curiosity.........thinking a little tighter thump is a good thing.

Just curious from your guys' experience, which has the most influence on the sound - mod on the cups or recabling?

It's a shame the D2000 sounds so good but my ears are so warm after 10 minutes of wearing. Part of the reason may be the tropical climate where I live.

If he doesn't have any, I've got plenty to spare. I had 2 square feet and only used like 1/5 of it.
