For use at work, I recently got a pair of Denon AH-D1001 cans. My previous work phones (Yamaha YHD-1) had a small, fold flat design that was easy to just lay on the desk, but the Denons are larger and less suited to sitting on a flat surface. I thought about using a banana hanger or similar table top contraption, but I decided I'd prefer to hang them on the cubicle wall to free up the desk space. I experimented with velco and assorted other options, but none were satisfactory, until I spotted a trade show freebie I had sitting in a drawer. It has a stiff wire frame covered in soft rubber, so it doesn't scratch or even leave an imprint in the padded headband. I stuck it to the fabric wall with thumbtacks, and voila! A toy store Gumby should do the same, as long as your phones aren't too heavy.
