I seem to like CRTs more than LCDs, though I've only ever used the really cheap ones. It's one of the reasons why I don't want a laptop as main computer.

Kuwhat!
$200 CRT! My monitor that I was talking about happen to be around that price. Here ya go: Newegg.com - ViewSonic X Series VX1940w Black&Silver 19" 2ms(GTG) Super High Resolution 1680x1050 DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 static (typ), 3000:1 dynamic (typ) - LCD Monitors It's more that enough for me, and its small enough that my speaker aren't blocked by the screen on my desk. |

CounterStrike:Source for fun online gaming, but mostly single-player FPS.
I really REALLY love S.T.A.L.K.E.R., it's a fantastic game, mixing in RPG elements with FPS and it's great that it's not a "shoot-em-up" sort where you can pop out of hiding and take out 10 people. If you pop out at the wrong place, you get taken out by one enemy easily! Assassin's Creed is pretty fun for now, but it's a little too easy. |
Good game also, but yeah... easy.
