Any Zune owners out there?

I had a 30 gig Zune brown. Before failing, it gave me a ton of grief with software updates, forcing me to update my Windows OS.

The PC software UI was not-so-great. Coming from a Creative Zen, I thought the player UI was heads and shoulders superior.

It catastrophically died after about 6 months of use. Since it was a refurb, I assume the warranty was only 90 days.

I bought a 2nd hand 60 GB ipod video and never looked back. ITunes has a great UI and is easy to use. The scroll wheel is infinitely better than the Zune UI.

Since the Zune was dead when I bought the ipod, I could not do a SQ comparison.

I've got a Zune80 and a Zune8. They're awesome DAPs and really usable. I love them more than I ever loved the many DAPs I've had before them.

I ordered a Zune 120 from Amazon yesterday, it should arrive on monday. I'm stoked.

BTW, my touch sold for $165.

I am eagerly awaiting this update!

*SO* Yesterday I fubared my hard drive somehow and erased my zune database and songs. My songs are fine as 98% of them were backed up but my Zune database took me several hours to setup just right.

Since I manually update my zune, does anyone know if I'm completely SOL on my database setup? About 20% of my 50gb of music required manual tagging and album art

Am Zune 80GB too! Now I'm a bit greedy, I'm in love with Zune so much, now I'm selling the 80gb and getting the 120gb. And my Livewires earphone is on the way, and I'm building a AMB Mini 3 too. And I making a custom cable for my Livewires from pure silver cable, can't wait to get everything work together!!!!

Did you guys do the update & did I get it wrong? Did MS give the Zunes an EQ? Oh PLEASE say YES!!!
