One model down from the long-time Stereophile class A rated XA7ES, sharing a lot of its circuitry and almost all of its quality. Very solidly built piece with great ergonomics and lots of features that puts many currently in vogue CDPs to shame. I'm the original owner and it has low hours since I only get to use my home system a couple hours a week and mostly play LPs.
Only flaws are some light marks on the top cover that I never even noticed before inspecting it to sell -- I probably had another component sitting on it at some point. Faceplate is excellent. Electronically of course it is perfect. A balanced sounding well-made CDP or a killer transport.
