Also, anyone whose heard the difference between Beyer DT770/80's and Darths can attest that recabling can do wonders for cans (although the woodying certainly adds a lot also)

BTW, what brought the issue to mind is that someone has ALO-recabled 780's on the FS/FT forum for like $380, albeit with vampire wire, not Jena cryo.
