Up for grabs is a used Sony Playstation 1, the "audiophile" model SCPH-1001. Comes with one controller (and instructions on how to use it with CD's) and AC cord; I may have a pair of cheapo IC's to throw in.

This is the Playstation model that has been compared to $6,000 CD players on the 6moons website, and about which Art Dudley raves about in the July '08 Stereophile. FWIW, it does have a very analog sound, reminding me of a rega planet from what I can remember.

I guarantee the unit to work as a CD player (I don't know nothin' about playin' no games) on arrival. $55 shipped in CONUS via Paypal please. Please PM if interested. Thanks.
