After some thinking (if you read my posts in the ortho thread you know what I mean) I have decided to sell my Realistic Pro30s, as I prefer the Yamaha sound. I got them NIB, and apart from a light scratch on one of the metal cup covers, they are in excellent condition. I still have the box, documentation, and the original inner foams. I have recabled them, but the original coiled cable will be sent along with the phones.
They are one of the easiest ortho phones to work on, not only because the baffle is held by three very accessible screws, but also because the cups competely detach from the headband with a quick release mechanism and can be placed flat (that's how they are packed in their small box).
Wualta -- the godfather of all things ortho here on Head-Fi -- rates them well, and since they are closed phones they make excellent (and pretty good loking) portables. I am posting a crappy pic taken with my cellphone, if you need more just ask.
I paid some money for them, partly because they were NIB, partly because they are the only pair I've seen on ebay since I follow the ortho thread. So makeonly decent offers. I am also open to trades with DIY amps, not portable, with money on my part.
