Cowon D2 -VS- Apple iPod Nano - Page 4

what i find annoying with itunes is perfectly synced albums, artwork, playlists, gapless playback, playback counting, video syncing and bookmarking and now: especially that bloody app store.

as for power: the nano is much less powerful it would seem than the d2. it is quieter at all volumes than any ipod i remember. with my headphones, the hiss is the same as the d2 but i cannot comment really on classic hiss as i heard it mostly in a loud store where only the sony would hiss.

i will not argue loudness or effects. ipod has never ever been about doing mega triple bass with super fad effects etc. so, i have tagged myself as someone who likes that sound.

i guess after coming from all the 'great sounding' players to an ipod touch and realising it must be placebo: even tests confirm that ipod is no worse than anything out there, i have given up on supporting to death this idea that ipod is rubbish: i used to. i came from camp md. believe me when i say that i could outshout any ipod hater.

***LOL***
I agree, as iTunes is a lot better and more well thought out than people give credit for. Drag & Drop is only good if you have smaller libraries or if you just prefer to load your player that way.
To say it's annoying or constantly bad mouth it is a matter of personal taste. It's the 1 thing I miss since I really haven't used and iPod (to carry as my DAP) in quite some time.
