Okay, here's some initial impressions.

MSpro has a fairly natural, and slightly bright sound, it reminds me of my favourite IEM - ER4P, just more bass and maybe less treble, I can't do a direct comparison between them cos I lost er4 in the airport 2 months ago, the bass of mspro is very real, the impact is not as much as on HF2 but with plenty amount of quantity, the quality of bass is exllent, and has more detail than HF2. The mids is similar to the HF2, similar distance, but I prefer the mids of mspro over HF2. The treble is quite detailed, with beautiful decay, but at times I wish it could has more quantity.

I agree with kontai69's impressions about mspro, so I don't want to talk about anything more because he did a much better review.biggrin.gif

To me mspro is a very good pair of headphone, I prefer them over HF2 (IMHO HF2 is a secondary headphone, and I've seen some similar thoughts), the only thing I am not very satisfied with mspro is lack of  "sparkle" in its high frequency, Although its treble is better than HF2 cos I just don't like HF2's roll-off highs.

But that's just me, because I listen to metal and punk a lot, I wish I could listen to more classical after I get the mspro before I bought them, but it turns out I am still a "rock guy", at least for the moment.

I am quite happy with my mspro now, but now I am starts to wonder how does RS1i sounds.biggrin.gif BUT I will spend more time with my pro and see what will happen then.

Sorry about my crappy English BTW.

New Alessandro fanboy checking in.

My first pair of decent phones were the Grado SR125i and i fell in love with the sound signature. Following that i decided to give the MS2i a punt because in all honesty it was over £100 cheaper importing them than buying 325i's from a UK dealer.

Needless to say I'm extremely happy but I'm very intrigued with the liberators.  I have practically 0 time to make a set due to a new baby, so is there anywhere/one i can purchase a reasonably priced pair from?

That's wired, my mspro only comes with a 6.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.confused.gif Maybe is because the "i" version?

I'm pretty sure the RS1/MSPro comes with an adapter, NOT the extension cable. I bought my Grado extension cable separately.

I got mine in April this year, and I also recently acquired an older MS Pro. Both came with the extension cable. Maybe they just forgot, when my 2011 model arrived, the extension cable wasn't inside the foam box, but it was still included in the usps express mail carton. Just email Alessandro, most likely they forgot.

Gave all my dynamical cans away (and/or put them out of usage) - except the MS Pro. A completely stock one wouldn't be my cup of tea any more though...

Bumping this so I can join...

Well Hello there! Another MS-Pro owner joining the party :) ...seem's a lot of folks from Perth are jumping on the bandwagon...most excellent! beerchug.gif

I've had mine 2 months now, still a long ways to go for breaking in.

Has anyone used the MS Pro in conjunction with the Schiit Asgard? I'm looking at the Pico too...

As of now I'm running them out of a CMoy from BSG (originally bought for my MS1i's)  :)

I know this is from a month or two ago, but I figured I'd just chime in:

The current run of RS1i comes with both the adapter and the extension cable. Always has, far as I know... this was a trade made by John Grado after the second company who made the wood boxes went out of business (not the be confused with the cardboard carton company that went out of business after 9/11). He figured people would be happier with the cables (which are, financially, a larger hit for him than the boxes).

Congrats, the pico works fine with the mspro, but I think it suits grados better.
