Hyundai makes consumer electronics like TVs and stereos and DVD players in Korea. The Hyudais that I see around here are very budget products (more so than Samsung or LG) which really shows in the built quality. I'm not sure if they have any mid to high end stuffs though.

Samsung is considered budget stuff? Just sort of curious....we use Samsung LCD monitors at work and next to the Dell Ultrasharps, are the nicest I've used, and my Samsung cell phones are all pretty decent, and have all stood out as being very sturdy and tough.

I do have to say though, those things look exactly like the 780s, except for the back of the enclosures.

LG/Acer is considered budget. Samsung is definitely not.

I mean budget as a product, that includes budget offerings from Sony, Philips, JVC and etc. (i.e. the cheap stuffs that they offer is cheaper than the cheapest stuffs that others offer.) Of course they all do have higher end stuffs.

I would buy those headphones just for the mini to right angle 1/4" converter purely because it looks like a gun.

I think you will find that even the "cheap" stuff from Samsung is of an excellent quality.
As is the gear from Sony.
As for LG well the G part of there name refers to a brand called Goldstar that became rather famous for the standard of there products.
Its statments like yours that adds to all the disinformation that abounds on the net.
Have a good day,and remember that when you think take your hands out of your pockets.

I wonder why is this statement necessary, I don't think myself or anyone here implied otherwise.

Besides how good is good and how bad is bad? I'm afraid that it is a moot point. To some Honda is good and to some it is ok and to some it is bad, to each his/her own.

And I don't see how my statement is a disinformation. If anything your statement sounds like I implied budget stuffs are bad in quality.

Merriam Webster dictionary defines "disinformation" as "false information deliberately and often covertly spread (as by the planting of rumors) in order to influence public opinion or obscure the truth."

Btw I couldn't care less about public opinion about what is a bad brand, let alone influence it, assuming the definition can be determined in the first place.

well doesn't seem like you meant it that way, but your earlier post can easily be interpreted as samsung/lg is cheapo enough and hyundai is even lower. For me LG is mixed(some of their products are great some are mediocre/poor) but samsung has been one of the strongest consumer electronic companies for awhile. They also partnered with sony to make the s-lcd panels which imo are the best lcds right now(they are sold under both brands).
