I actually typed AIFF first but for some reason people around here give me funny looks for ripping in AIFF instead of WAV.

Whats the difference between 320mp3 and WAV? Seems like a lot of trouble to got to, to convert everything.

 

I've read that there isn't much (if any) of a difference with Flac vs Mp3 too. Or am I wrong?

The joke was that once you have it in 320 you can't get it back to lossless (by converting it). That's why people were saying rerip. 

 

320 MP3 is honestly fine, IMO.

Oh I mean iTunes will technically tag it in your library...but they aren't sharable, transferable tags.

Really?  Ok, then I'll have to figure out which program does do it.  The thing I'm lusting after: the Resonessance Labs Invicta DAC, reads WAV tags off SD cards, and that means there has to be some program out there that does sharable, transferable tags.
