My planned system is matching although my speaker amp and turntable are silver...but my complete headphone rig should match.

LCD3s sound great.  The B22 from AtomikPi had a busted volume pot, and the wiring was generally crappy, but the boards were perfectly good.  It's in nice shape now.

No, it's a 24 position DACT stepped attenuator (23 + mute) with a remote control stepper motor on it from Bent Audio.

Patience, lots of patience. It took me 25 years to get my system where it is now. Upgrading a little at a time.
