I also heard a pair of those original big Nautilus once and it remains to this day the best I have ever heard any stereo system sound.

Thanks Yikes for hopefully getting this thread back on topic (especially seeing that the first few  pictured systems in that previous thread literally scared the bitrate right out of me) eek.gif

First few pages with the users that posted pics of there high end monitors, HE60, various high end Stax and R10's, you guys are hardcoreeek.gif

As per Yikes's post -- If you didn't take the pic, then DON'T POST IT. We all have google for searching on random stuff -- we're not idiots. Please post only systems that are local to this community.

Haven't heard them but they're gorgeous. I will hopefully have something worthy of posting here in a few months.

Plans: Recapped 2238 pushing B&W 683s. Liquid Fire pushing LCD 2s. Fed by a W4S DAC 2 with my SA8004 as the transport.

Not as impressive as some of the things around these parts, but I think it'll be worthy of a spot in this thread when it's complete.

Perhaps some people remember (from a meet or otherwise) AtomikPi's terrible B22.  It was in what seemed to be a 1980s PC case with a piece of wood duct taped on for a front panel.  I did only pay $700 for this craptastic balanced beta last year.  I finally got the courage to fix it up, it looks great now with its new case.  New, non-plastic volume knob is on the way.

Edit: here's the before pic, before I even owned this B22 it was at a meet alongside some of iPodPJ's gear.

Nice system, how do you like it with your LCD-3's?

Was it just terrible looking or did it have SQ issues?

That was my OLD system.  This is my current system (sans one of the P5 units).

I'm always impressed with people that have all color/design matching components. I look over at my rack and it looks like so random.
